Doctor informs worried Orlando Magic fan that unusual warm sensation in midsection is hope

An Orlando Magic fan who sought medical advice after increasingly frequent sensations of warmth in his stomach this offseason has been reassured by his family doctor that it is simply hope and optimism. “It's been a decade since I felt anything at all so it really scared me”, said a relieved Frank Jones, who was informed that the positive emotions were also likely to be causing the recent upturn in the corners of his mouth. “I had vague memories of these feelings during that brief moment when Aaron Gordon turned into Steph Curry at the start of the 2017 season, but they disappeared pretty quickly so I just forgot about them.” Jones recalls that the tingling began to return around the time of the 2022 draft, but had continued to grow as he watched Franz Wagner’s dominating performances at this summer's Eurobasket. “During that 32-point outburst against Lithuania I got so dizzy I had to lie down - my wife tells me I was cackling like a maniac, but I have no recollection of the event at all.” Satisfied with the medical diagnosis, Jones has been better able to navigate the symptoms and says he is looking forward to watching both of Jonathon Isaac’s games this season.
